My Unlce may have to move from South Korea back to El Paso. He is in the Air Defence Artillerary. Is it possible he may be part of the new troops going into Iraq. I am just concerned

Yep. If the unit he's assigned to in El Paso is deployed to Iraq.

ADDED:
It doesn't matter if he's the only one leaving Korea for El Paso, he'll be assigned to a unit in El Paso. Just as his orders are being changed to Texas, they could just as easily be changed to any other location.

There is no way of knowing. It depends on his unit, and his military specialty, whether he will be needed in Iraq. Since the Iraqi militants have no air forces, there is at present no need for Air Defense Artillery or Air Missile Defense within Iraq or Afghanistan. However, he might be assigned to another duty as a sargeant.
