There is something like 30% of the house that served in the military.
It was funny to see that most of the republicans were the officers and the pilots, where most of the democrats were the ones on the ground doing the close quarters engagements.

Its a different type of soldier with a different mentality. But Im all for Republicans sending their kids to the front lines and see if they would still turn their heads as our president leads them to their deaths.

80 soldiers will die this month, while republicans do all they can to stop forward progress that calls for DIPLOMACY
a dimplomacy that our president doesnt want to try with IRAN, a diplomacy that has been too soft on IRAQI president.

If I was embassador, Id be all up in IRAQ governments a** telling them they better come to some resolve because we are not going to lose more of our troops.
Thats what should have been done 3 years ago.

I give you this time table. You dont meet it, you will force us to take more severe actions. That choice is yours.
But the iraqi president is part of the problem since hes all for the cleansing himself.

Bush is trying to be firm with IRAN when he shouldnt, and not firm enough with IRAQ when he should be.
Hes a** backwards

I'm a Democrat, and a veteran, and even I find your question offensive and childish. There are millions of reasons for people not to enlist, and the main one may simply be that someone feels his personality is wrong for life in the service. But wearing the uniform isn't the only way to serve one's country. They also serve.....

Statistically, since Republicans have formed and presently form the bulk of the US armed forces - most of us either have served or are presently serving.

So most of those Republicans have put their money where their mouth is.

How about yourself - since you think other people should join the military - when did _you_ serve?

Or are you a hypocrite?

Well, since all branch's of the military are hitting 100% of their enlistement goals and over 100% of their reenlistment goals.

I'd say Repubilcans are already enlisting......wouldn't you?

This war isnt illegal, and Im not going to pay for more taxes because you think that. Go live in Africa and learn what its like to not have an Army keep you safe.
