No, you most definitely do not have to go bald to get rid of lice. Britney Spears is probably just lazy and didn't want to treat it/spread it any further herself.

When I was a kid and had lice I just had to cut my hair to shoulder lenght (it was down to my knees) but that's only because it was easier. There are many treatments that do NOT require you to cut you hair. The question should be what the hell was she doing and where to get the lice in the first place.

I highly doubt that she had lice because if she did the salon owner should have told he to get to the drug store and buy RidEx or some other lice removal ointment and smallcomb and do it herself at home. it is actually a poublic health risk and salon are not allowed, by law, to treat anyone with parasites as they are highly communicative
so, no you don't need to shave your head to get rid of lice. that's ridiculous

No you do not. There are many lice treatments out there you can use, shampoos, sprays, etc. and also special combs to help get eggs out. It's hard to deal with but it gets rid of them

No. If she was thinking about her kids and not just herself, she would know that shaving her head did not kill the lice that is already in her home. I wonder if Paris will be mad that she has it now?

Its just an excuse for her to get attention. She is partying and trying to get famous Paris Hilton style by doing crazy things to get in tabloids and magazines. Since she lost her husband and her singing career is going down hill she is acting out for publicity. Honestly i think she is a fat, washed up loser.
