Ok TMC (Toyota Motor Corporation) is based in Japan. And its counterpart TMS (Toyota Motor Sales) is based right here in the U.S. Thus no matter the car you buy from a U.S. Toyota dealership (Toyota, Scion, Lexus, etc.) all the money stays right here in the states. Which in turn helps our economy and gives jobs to people. If you go to dealerships in your area go ahead and look at the window sticker to see where it was assembled and where the parts come from. You will notice that Ford is made in Mexico and Chevy and Dodge is made in Canada. And come to find out that the Camry is made right here in the good ole USA (Indiana to be exact). So it seems that the so called "domestic" car is actually not and the "import" is. Also going back to the assembly and parts with domestics when you buy a Ford money goes to Mexico, and when you buy Chevy or Dodge money goes to Canada. That means you're supporting their economy, not ours. This is why Toyota is more than qualified to race NASCAR

It is odd that they still call it NASCAR (North American Stock Car Auto Racing) but I'm not at all against it. Toyota has put an awful lot of money into the American economy and taught the world many good things.

well Toyota found a way to put wheels on their cars, and the funny thing is once that happened, it was discovered that they can be driven, so someone came up with the idea it can race.
