Congratulations on the GPA, that is excellent.
You are doing well in class and that is important, but you must decide what you mean by being 'smart'.
Living life makes all of us smarter in one way or the other. Your experiences will help you grow and learn, but you will have experiences that no one else will ever have, because you are unique. So never measure yourself with others. It is like measuring yourself with a giant tree. You are different, you are unique, there is no other person on this earth like you, so live your life and learn the lessons that you need to learn and you will get very SMART. :-)

Welll... I am hoping you are a 6th grader, comparing yourself to the others in your grade. A 4.0 GPA is just that... a grade-point average. It means you are good a studying, doing homework, and taking tests. Don't compare yourself to others who might have more life experience than you.... maybe they have travelled more or read more or watch the news with mom and dad... who knows.
Now.. if you are in high school and are comparing yourself to 6th graders... it is quite possible that what they are learning today is a lot harder than what you had to learn six years ago!! Because of technology and the speed in which information is shared these days, kids are learning faster and more intricate subject matter than you learned when you were in 6th grade.
BUT... if you are indeed a 6th grader...just keep doing well. The "smarts" will come as you experience more life... don't grow up too fast... you should be enjoying this time to just be a kid!!

There is book smarts and there is Understanding Humans. They are an ocean apart. Bridge them together, listen to others, you do not have to agree with them, nor do you have to argue with them, communication is a learned experience.
Listen, to what others say, also listen to what they mean. The two are not always the same. With a common understanding an agreement or an argument can be properly discussed and the interaction an enjoyable one. .
I have no idea what a GPA is and it really does not matter. 4.0 is good I guess. I took IQ tests and junk, they are fun, but you cannot feed a hungry horse a math equation.

Try to socialize, i had that problem too. Socializing with others is the best way to get even better than a 4.0 GPA

You are only half way through school. Try hard, also you are in middle school. Everything you are feeling, everyone else is too. TRUST ME! I was in 6th grade too.

GPA scale is a useless tool in measuring how 'smart' you are. its more of 'how good can you memorize things and follow directions without question'. everyone has strengths and weaknesses. dont worry about it.
