I am getting ready to start planning destination wedding. We have not chosen the location yet but I'm thinking the carribbean. We would like to pay for some/all of our guests' rooms (up to 50 people). I originally wanted to rent a villa but can't seem to find any to accomodate that many people. Does anyone have any recommendations on a location/resort where I can get a good price for such a large group? I have heard that weddings at the chain resorts like Sandals and Beaches are very cookie cutter which is why I was thinking a villa would be better. Does anyone know of a large villa that is part of a resort? Maybe some guests can stay at the hotel and family in the villa? I am open to any ideas/recommendations.

How long ago were you at Sam lords castle? The site is not working and the few reviews I found are not so hot.

Sam's Castle in Barbados would work wonderfully. We stayed there on our honeymoon and saw a bridal party in action.

Your best bet is going to be a Sandals or Beaches resort ... there are definitely ways to make your reception different and not all of them are "cookie cutter" ... the processes might be the same, but every one of them is different in their own way.

you are able to stay everywhere you like and that i don't think of it quite is impolite in any respect. If i pass to a trip spot wedding ceremony, you are able to wager funds that i visit be making it a mini-trip for myself! lol Sorry yet attending somebody else's trip spot wedding ceremony is outrageously high priced and if i visit dish out the money and pass for the duration of the hardship then i could make it well worth my on an identical time as.
