my '06 Mazda3 has plenty of legroom in the front seats, and i'm 6'1". it has excellent headroom in the front too, for that matter. the backseat is a little cramped for me though, but they work well for people 5'6" and under

I suggest that you take a good look at the nissan versa its subcompact with enormous interior space, its got huge leg room bigger that some midsize cars!,even 6 footers can fit in with plenty of space to spare

I was thinking a Vauxhall Signum they have loads of legroom but it might be a bit long.I had one and it was also the most reliable car i have ever had.
