Staying in New York City with a friend for a week. Going to do the touristy thing when she is at work. If you have been there/live there name your top 5 tourist must sees? First time visitor, thanks in advance.

You must go to Times Square, Statue of Liberty, Go to Central Park and then walk down 5th Ave, Little Italy and China Town (next to each other) are great, and finally see a broadway play. I also think its important to visit the WTC.

In addition to all the places already mentioned I'd add the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center & Radio City Music Hall, The Circle Line tours around Manhattan, Ellis Island, and if its bad weather outdoors, check out the Museum of Modern Art, American Museum of Natural History/Hayden Planetarium, and The Guggenheim. And to really cap your day, enjoy lunch at the Jekyll & Hyde Club restaurant on 57th & 6th Ave. or at Mars 2112 located at Broadway & 51st. Either of those restaurants will give you a terrific experience!! Have fun in our town!

The Frick Museum, there is nothing else like it any where in the world.
