did anyone notice who the driver was that was shown during the opening prayer of the daytona 500 and he was messing with something inside of his car instead of praying???? im curious who the driver is.

honestly i was not wanting a REASON for why YOU THINK he was not praying. I just wanted to know WHO the driver was.

How about the Reverand Doctor So and So ? He was leading the prayer and still DID NOT take his hat off.

Drivers arent requiered to pray before the race. Maybe he wasnt a religous person and decided to do something else with the few seconds of quiet time before the race.

How about the friggin camera man that did not put his camera down and pray?
I have been there during the envocation and it is sometimes hard to hear.

some manage to at least be still during prayer-or at least bow their heads while they smack gum. Most of them just grimace through the American anthem-I guess it does get tired every pre race
