Shaving is the easiest of all, but only lasts a day or two.
I just recently tried at home waxing, bought a Veet home microwave kit..for like 12 bucks. Cheap and dissolves in water. Very nice and effective. Had to grow the hair in for a little over a week in order to have it long enough to effectively remove...worked nicely and stayed away for nearly two weeks now. Hurts like hell, but it's good. If you can afford it, go to a salon, they'll be more professional with it, and will probably get the hair all in one try as they've had practice..but if you don't want to wax, shaving. Do it every shower, make it a part of your shower routine.
Good luck with this!

Gigi Honey Wax comes in a convenient container that you can put in your microwave at home. Sally Beauty Supply even carries complete kits with steps for home waxing. Be certain not to overheat your wax and burn yourself. Put your muslin strip over the area, and smooth in the direction the hair grows. Then, just quickly tear in the direction opposite to the growth of the hair. You can always use the stuff in the kits; however, if you need to get the wax off in a pinch, just use a little bit of baby oil and gently work the wax off your skin.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are “permanent” hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

The best thing to do is just shave it. It won't be permanent but it is relatively pain free and cheap.

Shaving. With the proper tools. These tools are meant for men but it's for underarms too.
