ok.. i feel stupid asking this.. but i really want to know..
when u say goodbye to guys on im they always say later or peace or something like that. When i say goodbye to this one guy tho who i really like... he says goodnight. Is goodnight a nicer thing to say then later.... i dont really know how to explain it, but does it mean more?

good night is better. later is something you say to the guys after a football game not some you say to the person you like. its kind of like saying whatever. you can say what ever to alot of things but saying it when some one says i love you would be wrong to. later or peace is the same way its cool when your just kickin' it with friends but it's no way to end a date.

Good manners are always an attractive attribute. Most guys just want to sound cool and catch phrases make them feel creative. Since you can't change it, appreciate the nice ones and see the odd ones as an attempt to be cool. That way you have a whole new way of receiving and perceiving.

haha ok ive been wondering the same exact thing for a while and most guys just say peace or l8ter...i agree but theres one guy that will always say goodnight and say my name after it. it always seems so much cuter and nicer hehe.

Not necessarily. Some guys just like some sayings better. I usually just say later to my friends all the time, even the ones I feel more affectionate for.
You would have to test if you thought it was more. If more than one guy was saying that to you, and saying differently to others, then chances are yes.
But it mostly just comes down to preffered phrases, or word.

maybe! maybe hes trying to be nice to u so that u like him. the other guys that say peace or something are not that sensitive but this guy that says goodnight may be really worth it ;)

goodnight is a bit more meaningful. whoever this guy is took a half second extra to say something other than peace or something like that.

I am what some would call a Southern Gentleman and when speaking to anyone that I admire whether it be friend or family. I always bid them a Good Night.

I would think so. Ask other girls what he says when he says goodbye to them. If there is no other girls to ask, make up a screen name and pretend to be someone else and find out

aww yeah he is putting more time into saying goodnight to you. than later, maybe you mean more to him and he is just being nice about it than so blunt as to say to a friend "later".

talk to the guy, pick up the phone and call him. How can you say youre dating someone, and talking to them on IM you need to actually talk to them, and then you can hear what means more, but probably to him its just whatever he feels like typing
