Here's the harsh reality.....
You'll probably never be 100% over him.
BUT....your head has to rule over your heart this time.
You know he's flirty....and he will be later...it's probably his nature.
If you're uncomfortable with it...just be his friend and move on.

I have found that getting over a long time crush is nearly impossible especially if your heart is set on them. However........ lets say you end up going to different schools and don't see each other again and meet someone else you like then that pretty much solves itself out. However, if you are not being seperated that is much harder. You should point out the bad things about him to yourself eventually you'll realize he's not worth it. Also try to not think about him. Find someone or something else to do and see that you do not need him.
You can also just move on, try meeting other people and seeing that their are other fish in the sea and will always be. If you find someone else the person will fade. Just keep confirming with yourself you don't like him and it should eventually stay with you. Good luck to you!

It's gonna take a while. Don't call him, think of him as a pet peeve and you should get over him. It worked for me.

as mean as it sounds, remind yourself of all the times he's flirted with other girls, been mean to you/ignored you... just think of all of his FLAWS. eventually you will meet a good guy thats perfect for you in every way
