has a girl friend but we hooked up one night for a one night stand and then it turned into more. The one nighter was just a drunken thing that wasn't planned. I had no idea he had a girl friend but we had such a wild time we were together for almost 24 hours. Then we exchanged numbers and he started calling me then he confessed he had a girl friend. He finally told the girl friend and she says she still wants him and so do I. Now he is seeing both of us. He was with this other woman for three years. I have to think that their relationship is troubled b/c he slept with me and pursued me and told her about it. Also, after three years they still only date. I want to hang in and hope he breaks up with her b/c I really love him. Do I stand a chance? I don't want to force the issue and have him regret breaking up with her and resent me. Their relationship must have had problems so don't he and I stand the better chance?

I say if you like him, just hang out with him when you can, and date other people.
he obviously doesnt like either of you enough to be commited to just one, so you shouldnt commit yourself to him either.
Eventually he'll make a decision and if you havent met anyone else and he wants you, there ya go.
But dont sit around and wait on him while he dates. You may not be his choice in the end.
Good luck!

Me and my ex were going to be a one night stand until he persued me after. We wound up getting engaged, but things didn't work out for us. I hope they work out for you. I think you do have a bit of an edge since he obviously has trouble staying with his one girlfriend. I think cheaters cheat until they find the right person. So are you the right person? Only he knows. He may have a wandering penis when you guys get together too or maybe not at all. Only time will tell. If he has too much trouble leaving his g/f then I say move on. He's clearly not going to leave her for you if he takes his time making his decision.
