at my sons 1yr, I was told he shouldnt be getting any more than 2cups of milk a day because milk keeps them from wanting to eat other foods. The DR would rather him eat a serving of veggies and reserve the milk for morning and dinner meals.

Never over 18-20oz. because it starts depleting the iron in his body. Plus milk can keep you from eating other things because it fills you up. So like 3 cups. (6 oz cups)

At my daughter's 1st year visit, the pediatrician said 15ozs of milk. In addition to 4oz of fruit juice and 4oz of water. She is now 14 months and she goes next month for 15th month checkup.

Ask your baby Dr. to be sure. But, mine drank about 5 to 6 bottles a day with 6oz each.
