I go to a Spirit Filled pentecostal type church. We come away filled with the Spirit, full of Gods knowledge, and full of faith. In our church, we see miracles happen such as cancer healed, cerebal palsy healed, broken bones healed, etc.
We really serve a God in a good mood that is not an abusive father. Of course He expects obedience, but He is more interested in blessing us than punishing us.
God bless you all!

Fellowship.
Social interaction.
A community, esspecially a GOOD community, where you have your similar spiritual paths, is a great thing, regardless of religion.
Everything else, you can get going solo. But the social interactions at church seem to be enough for some people, to the point where they don't read the Bible.

Personally, I get answers and I leave feeling better than I did before I walked in, more at peace with myself and less stressed/worried.

Instruction.
It's like you are hungry to learn as much as you can about this God who loves us so much He paid His own penalty for His definition of sin....and He gets to do the defining.
Like He said to Job, "Where were you when I created the earth?"

I don't go to church because I get nothing out of it. I don't need to hear someone preach for an hour just so I can feel content. Pshh, i'd rather sleep.
You all are a**holes, you give people thumbs down just because they don't go to church lol...
