trimming your hair regularly does make it grow faster. It keeps the ends healthy and prevents breakage (split ends). Dying your hair can cause split ends. You want to use a good conditioner everyday and a conditioning treatment after dying.
You should look into prenatal vitamins...They help your hair and nails to grow faster!♥

Cutting or dying your hair doesn't affect the growth speed. Dying your hair improperly can cause damage and breakage that will make it difficult for hair to reach long lengths. Take a good multivitamin, eat good sources of protein, take an additional biotin supplement, and drink lots of water. While it may also be an old wive's tale, I do know a bunch of people who cut their hair based upon the growing guidelines described in the farmer's almanac. There are certain times during the month that supposedly encourage hair growth. I am really not sure if this is the case, but these hairdressers swear by it.

The reason why they say trimming your hair makes it grow faster is because when you trim it your getting rid of the dead hair and split ends. When your ends are healthy they aren't constantly breaking off so your hair will actually gain length instead of staying the same length. Any kind of chemical you put on your hair is going to damage it to some degree. A good conditioner and proper care will ensure healthier hair. Good luck.

Cutting your hair doesn't make it grow faster. Think about it, it's actually getting shorter. It just makes it healthier because it gets rid of split ends.

I've heard that if you wear your hair in a tight pony-tail at night that it helps to make your hair grow faster. I've also heard that massaging your scalp makes the hair grow faster because it gets blood flowing in that region.

I've never had my hair dyed before so I don't know what effect that has on it, sorry.

These are all myths. Hair grows at it own rate. Some people's hair just grows faster than others. Dying can make it look fuller than actually is but rate is constant.

Well trimming your hair dosent help it grow back faster. Who ever told you that lied to you. If you dy your hair and hot take of it like wash it regularly , condition it, na dnot put alot of more chemicals in it then it will be ok. I would say I never had a problem of losing hair so I can't help oyu with that.

It doesn't, it's a myth. Try taking Biotin to make your hair grow faster, you can get it at a drugstore or Walmart. It really does work, I hear.
