The only act of violence I ever remember Jesus committing was attacking some money lenders in a temple. And Jesus was the ultimate pacifist! If money lenders made Jesus that mad, isn't that a sign for Christians to never have bank accounts or loans and to attack the true enemies of the establishment, crooked companies that leach off misery?

Doesn't seem so, when everyone in power these days is a 'Christian'.

The reason why Jesus was upset was because they were turning His temple into a market.

As far as your question, it depends on what we do with it. If we are selfish, and spend all of it on ourselves, and become greedy, then that would be a bad thing.

Matthew 19:24 says:
"Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.""

The reason the Bible says this, is because a lot of the time, when people have a lot of wealth, they become greedy and think that they don't need anyone to help them with anything, even God.

I don't think everyone in power is a Christian. More accurately, they are into this New Age stuff and Scientology.

Yes, Jesus was mad, but the point isn't to not be wealthy, it is what is wealth? Also, a house of worship, the Temple, was meant to be Holy. It made worshiping God into a business, which is not what it is. I know that it stands that same way today in many places.

well no, Jesus was attacking the people that were trying to rip other people off in the temple. The Church isn't the place to make money. Church is a place to worship God, not make money. Christians are allowed to have money. God blesses some christians with money.

The point that Jesus was making is stated here:

"Then Jesus went into the temple, threw out all who were selling and buying in the temple, and overturned the moneychangers' tables and the chairs of those who sold doves. He told them, "It is written, 'My house is to be called a house of prayer,' but you are turning it into a hideout for bandits!" (Matthew 21:12-13)

The religious leaders had turned a place of worship into a market. Further, the presence of moneychangers indicates that people were being taken for a ride on the exchange rate, and that the religious leaders were likely profiting from it.

Even Jesus depended on the people with money to support him and his disciples. Don't you remember that Judas was the treasurer for the Apostles. They accepted donations. Poor people cannot donate.

Christians do hold wealth, not only in material things. Christians spread their wealth to those less fortunate

Xtians like to reinterpret the bible to point what they prefer quite of what it means "it is troublesome for someone who's wealthy" means quite anybody it is wealthy if he grow to be talking to a particular individual he would have named him all of his 12 disciples had to furnish away their wealth to affix him a particular ruler requested him, 'solid instructor, what ought to I do to inherit eternal existence?' Jesus suggested to him, 'Why do you call me solid? no one is solid yet God on my own. you understand the commandments: 'You shall no longer commit adultery; You shall no longer homicide; You shall no longer thieve; You shall no longer undergo fake witness; Honor your moms and fathers.' He responded, 'I actually have saved a majority of those considering my teens.' at the same time as Jesus heard this, he suggested to him, '*****there continues to be one aspect lacking. promote all that you personal and distribute the money to the poor, and think ofyou've got treasure in heaven; then come, keep on with me. Jesus regarded at him and suggested, 'How troublesome it is should you've wealth to enter the dominion of God!'" [Lk. 18:18-23]***** *********Now the completed crew of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one claimed deepest possession of any possessions, yet each and everything they owned grow to be held in undemanding. With tremendous potential the apostles gave their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and tremendous grace grow to be upon all of them. there grow to be no longer a needy individual between them, for as many as owned lands or houses bought them and delivered the proceeds of what grow to be bought. They laid it on the apostles' ft, and it grow to be allotted to each and each and every as any had want." [Acts 4:32-5]****** Jesus grow to be a Commie
