She's close, maybe even readier than you think.
Keep an eye on her. If she seems restless, pacing and refuses any food, she could be ready to birth.
Keep the vet informed and on call for emergencies but no need to take her to see him: dogs generally cope very well with birthing all by themselves and infact do better in their everyday evironment with the people she knows as family.

BTW...temperature usually falls when birth is about to begin!

temperature drops 24 hours before birth, IF she is digging now she will be having pups soon,
GET a roll of clean paper towels handy. AFTER she passes the first puppy you will know if she will be doing this with you just watching .
SHE should be licking the puppy and stimulating circulation by licking it ,SHE also will bite the umbilical cord and eat the after birth .
I usually only let the dog eat one or 2 of the after births.
If this is her first litter and seems just to distraught to act you must.
CUt the umbilical cord about 1 inch from the body, i usually will clamp the end with a hemostat or yiu can just squeeze the end with your fingers for a few minutes.
RUB the puppy alot with the paper towels to dry the puppy and make sure his airway is clear.
wipe the nose and face first .
KEEP THE PUPPY WARM, AND return to mom as long as she is willing to lay with it .
watch her to make sure she does not trample the puppy when the next one is passing
good luck!!

I would call the vet and ask! Why take the chance that something bad is happening to the dog(s) by waiting for emails? Pick up the phone and call the doctor. He'll reassure you if this is normal or tell you if it's not.

within 24 hours after the temp. drops they will have puppies. if u start to c a puppy or a bubble leave her go but if 5-10 mins. pass without any change then you will have to call the vet or pull the puppy out yourself.
