I read about the Torah code on the net and to be truthful, It's so far over my head, I can't tell if it makes sense or not. For instance....in Hebrew letters, Genesis contains the word "Torah" if you use every 50th letter, starting with the sixth letter. So does Exodus. So does Numbers. So does Deuternonomy. Leviticus does not. It contain the Jewish word for God within this code. There's a lot more.

What do you guys think of this?

The Torah codes are the LEAST impressive examples of the Torah's divine nature. Just to give one example: The Torah says that kosher animals have split hooves and chew their cud. It says there are only four animals that have one of the two signs but not the other : The camel, the pig, the hyrax and the hare. Never in history has another animal been found that has one of the two signs and not the other. If someone had made this book up, why would they say something that can be so easily disprove? And even more remarkable is that with all of the millions of new species that have been discovered, not one disproves it. Go to askmoses.com for more examples.

I have spoken to several experts on this topic and I have personally talked to the individuals that pioneered the equally distant letter spacing that has lead to modern bible codes.

I am not convinced.

with everything that they have shown there are just as many if not more that do not work.

also in Leviticus it is one of the names of G-d and it occurs every seventh letter.

Even if there are codes in the Torah they are not of any value to us in terms of predicting the future or confirming the validity of the Torah.

You can do that in every book, basically. There have been studies done on this as well as the one where if an ape types into infinity s/he will produce Hamlet. You can find a code in any book ever printed--the Bible code they said predicted 9/11 (or 11/9) was also found in Moby Dick.

Any time you have a document as long as the Torah, you're bound to find these sorts of things.

For example:
John Safaran was able to find September 11th predicted in Vanilla Ice's lyrics.

John F. Kennedy's assasination was predicted by Moby Dick.

Are they inspired as well?

No.
