That is a problem..this is what I see from dating oh so often......Like if someone physically is a 8..they usually don't date a 4..but maybe a 6 if they have something to offer. So lets say if your a 5..then stick with someone around that scale..otherwise you will probably be single...Let me give you another example. Lets say I am an 8 and I have a good job and I am educated. I would do better with a professional than a fast food worker.....Please I am not downing anyones jobs..I have had jobs like that..remember status....status is not everything but important. So if your ugly don't look for hotties.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. "Ugly" is such a cruel and relative term. Stay optimistic, and don't let mean people ruin your quality of life.
To find a mate, I suggest doing things you like to do (goto church, your favorite book store or library), try a different job, or accept a more open attitude to life. Hopefully, you'll find someone.
I must say, though, that I have been single for a few years now. Though I am not feverishly looking, I have not furnished results to back my advice. It's just my suggestion. By doing what you like, though, you may come upon personal fulfillment, which is better than a bad relationship.

Helps if you stop thinking of yourself as ugly.
Do the best you can with what you've got -- get some professional advice on how to accentuate your best features.
Helps if you stop thinking all in terms of physical beauty. What are your personal strong points? Are you really funny? Are you a computer whiz? Are you a great musician? Start redefining your self image in terms of what you do well.
Think about your personal interests. Love jogging? Watch every movie that's made? Know every song the Beatles ever wrote? Get involved with a group that loves the same things you do.
If you're religious, get involved in your church. Try some online singles services. Or a local dating service.
When you meet guys, look at them for what their personal strengths and interests are.
And remember, you don't need guys plural. To have a good relationship, you only need one really nice guy who thinks you're really nice, too.

If you think you are ugly then I can understand not getting a guy. Why dont you go to a beauty salon and hav make up done and go to a top hairdresser and have your hair styled. This way you can feel good about yourself. Think positive and go to places of interest to you where you can meet guys with same interests.

No one gets guys if they're ugly. The problem is you're probably not ugly at all. Stop doing that to yourself and you'll have a great chance.

Guys don't always go for looks it what is on the inside that counts don't get discouraged if you have makeup use it and fix your hair if its long try a curling iron and curl it if its short try curling it under like a bob.. When you try different hairstyles it makes your appearance different, dress up not down.
