-will tell you if she thinks you are struggling with something in your spiritual walk
-will give you advice and not soften stuff down because she knows that she can be honest with you

Of course there is Christ but, as the little boy once said when told he didn't have to be afraid because Jesus is always with him, "I want someone with some skin!"
If you do have that special earthly friend, it is a great blessing from God.
