I like this guy...?

Okay so I like this guy and I have told him and he says that he doesn't like me....we are just friends.
He tells me that he loves me-but just as a friend.
The other day he said we should hang out more but I have offered twice to hang out and both times he said no or "I'm busy". What should I do? Should I keep liking him? Should I just give up on him?

I didn't know you could just stop "liking him". But you can just carry on like he's not responding.
