No, my friend, you have failed to realize the point.

Whatever name you give your higher power, you are recognizing just that, the HIGHER POWER.

New Age is what this world needs, and see religion as a collective and no boundaries, and actually enjoy life, and not be so afraid of what they do now!!!! As long as what you do is not harming anyone else or yourself, then why does that matter?! Because your BELIEF tells you so? Pshh...yeah, save your precious oxygen...

Blessed Be, Peace Be With You..

I disagree with the New Age religious movement on only one point. if you are new age, be new age. if you practice an ancient religion practice the ancient religion.

ex. do not call yourself a Druid and worship Norse gods, or follow Wiccan teachings. to do so is disrespectful to the culture of the Druid's and the ancient Celts.

I call myself a Celtic Pagan for this reason. i worship the Celtic gods. but i am not nor will i ever be a Druid. quite simply i do not have the Bardic training that goes into being a Druid. and i do honor some gods that are outside of the Celtic Pantheon. this puts me into the so called New Age category.

(i use Druids as a example because it is close to home for me. the same would apply for a traditional Witch, a Wiccan, or someone of one of the many Shamanic traditions. i am just saying be who you are, and label yourself in an accurate manner. )

for thoes that say
"if it feels good just do it" you clearly do not understand the belief system.

there are laws and codes of morality that we follow. and they are very simple.

most follow the "harm none" law.

"if it harm none do what ye will" this is all inclusive. this one single law forbids us from any act that would violate any other person's rights or religious beliefs.

and thoes that do not follow this will almost always at least believe in Karma or the threefold law meaning that everything that we do will come back to us. and if it is done with negative intent it will come back much worse than it was put out.

New Age is an incoherent mix of bastardized versions of Eastern religions. New Age doesn't even make sense - it contradicts itself, and it gives no answers beyond "if it feels good, do it" (which is not what Hinduism or Buddhism teach).

In my opinion, new age is a rip of all all religions, it is a cheap combination of eastern mysticism with western paganism.
