In a magazine i got , a girl said she was a brunette and that she used a blond something shampoo to get her hair more lighter and that it works.I want to try it but will that harm my hair like get it green after a while?

Nope. Give it a shot. Although like the John Frieda blonde stuff, my friend is a brunette and she used mine, it didn't work at all for her.

I don't think that would work unless there was peroxide in the shampoo. It might have been a John Frieda Beach Blonde product. But that line was discontinued. No matter what you use, lightening your hair WILL damage it. Lighten it a little, you'll get a little damage, and vise versa. If you do want to lighten your hair a certain way, have it done professionally. You'll be glad you did, I've goofed up my hair SO many times.

Depending on the shade of your brunette hair, it could turn it into a rust color (very unattractive). I know this because I tried using a blonde shampoo on my brunette hair. Turned it orange. And when I say orange I mean the same orange that the little box on the lower right of your screen that says "RSS."

I have the same shampoo the stuff is great it is all i ever use but i use brunette expressions instead of blonde and it does make your hair lighter.... it also smells great! its an awesome shampoo and they also sell conditioner, hair lotion, gel, and hair spray...
