They deserve a category of their own BUT not in HUNTING.
As you don't HUNT with them!

I don't know if it will matter tho....
I just get tired of wading through
all their questions in what is a hunting
category.
And for those of you who that think
air soft and paint ball is HUNTING
because you hunt humans.....
Well all I can say is join the military!
I'm a Nam Vet and believe me that's not hunting!

I agree that airsoft/paintball should have it's own catergory.
As should Shooting Sports (target, skeet, cowboy action shooting, etc.)
And as well, General firearms knowlege.
But.
They don't.
And griping about it doesn't seem to accomplish a thing.
As a hunter, I assume you are also a gun owner.
These paintball/airsoft folks aren't all kids, and the ones who are will grow up eventually into what they call VOTERS.
These gun loving VOTERS, hold the future of our firearms rights in their hands. The ones only old enough to own airsoft guns at the moment, will wish to own guns with which they CAN hunt someday.
Alienating them now may serve to not only undermine gun ownership in the future, BUT PERHAPS OUR HUNTING RIGHTS AS WELL!
I notice your Question has nothing to do with hunting,
Why is IT in the hunting section?
Answers HAS a Yahoo Answers User Forum page.

But I say this only as an expmple of what I'm saying. It doesn't bother me that you posted it here.
If you look at the variety of questions posted in Hunting,
You'll find relatively few actual hunting questions.
Without these other categories being lumped in the Hunting section, Hunting might be eliminated, for "lack of interest".!
I don't wish that to happen and neither do you.
We may have different interests, but we do share some common views. It could be worse. Until Answers adds a Airsoft/paintball page, at least, can't we all just try to get along?

I would sign a petition to let it have its own category. I've only asked three questions on Yahoo, and one is about Air Soft. I only got two responses because air soft does not belong in hunting!

I hate air smooth guns. I were given shot with one through some Immature newborn after a football recreation (im a cheerleader). He shot me in my neck and it harm fairly undesirable. i don't think of youngsters must have guns because maximum of them are not any further mature sufficient to have one, even an air smooth or paintball. Paintballing does look relaxing, on a route or way out in the country.
