a year ago i started using contacts and then a month ago my eyes started to get red when i wore my contacts i went to the doctor and brought an expensive 80 eye drop medicine . then i started using my contacts again and my eyes are getting red again... what is this and what can i do to prevent this.

i have 2 week pair of contacts. ive tryed everything from not wearing them for a week but when i put them back on m y eyes get red again

are you changing your contacts when they're supposed to be changed and taking care of your eyes? Wear your glasses for a while and see if that makes a difference.

it could be allergies. thats what i was told by my doctor. for instance perhaps allergies to somehing in the air, heat or contact themselves or the solution. try to see a different doctor and see what they say. good luck i feel your pain! same here.

your eyes may just be tired of the lenses being in there so don't wear for a week and look for improvement

you might have a small tear in one of your contacts and this would irritate your eyes
