I'm usually great at reading people.. But this guy is really confusing me. I hang out with mostly guys, all the time, and at one point in time most of the guys in my group have been interested in me (just for the fact that I do all the male-dominated activities they do right along with them) anyways.. There is one guy in my group that I don't understand. He doesn't act like he's interested in me in front of all the guys, but when we're alone he always flirts and we end up messing around. He calls me regularly and we hang out all the time. He lets me spend the night at his house and we always tease eachother. But then he tells my best friend that the only reason he's teasing me in front of everyone, is so I don't like him.. and so I just know that all we are is friends. Like I said before, he's the only guy in my group that hasn't had some sort of crush on me, yet he's the only one I've messed around with.. What the hell is going through his mind?!?!

Typical of the "dark side of situations where a girl is hanging out with guys and beeing a "homie".
It will always make a man insecure and even uncomfortable to see you beeing so well at your ease with all these men around, even if they are his friends, so he cannot picture you as a potential gfriend. He might be afraid that, as you messed around with me, you might as well have done it with others or will do with others...
This is not the right situation for him to see you clearly as a possible girlfriend, and it is understandable. He doesn't want to change anything about his relationship with his boys and you might be an element that is a threat for this.
I hope you can understand his position, try to see it from his shoes and how you would feel.
I used to hang out with mostly guys until I found out that, most of the time it becomes a source of problems for all my other relationships (female friends, boyfriend)

I think next time you are alone with him you need to ask him. Guys are shy around other guys, but make him fess up tell him to let you know whats up that is what friends do is tell each other the truth then tell him not to be talking about you to your BFF knowing they would tell you what he said if he wants you to know something tell him to be a man and tell you up front

I'd drop him now, if I were you. If he is saying things like that behind your back to other people, then he is not interested in anything from you but what he can get.

that is confusing. i would say that he likes you but he is scared that you dont like him, and he is scared of rejection.he probably knows that the other guys have all liked you at one point or another and dosent feel like he can compete with them... if i were you i would ask him upfront wether or not he likes you.
