grade D Pass to Enter College and to work?

Hi i just wanted to know if a Grade D is a pass to be able to Enter College and to Work.

While a "D" is nothing to be proud of, it is a passing grade. If you are truly worried, you might want to talk to your school counselor about retaking the class to raise your grade. As far as getting into college, try to get an appointment with an admissions counselor at the college of your choice. Be ready to discuss why you got the "D," i.e. were you having family problems at the time; did you spend too much time on outside activities; were you overloaded with many tough classes at the same time; did you erroneously enroll in a class above your level or experience/achievement, etc.? Also, remember that even if you can't get into the four-year college of your choice, you might be able to attend a community college first. As far as work goes, I don't think most employers look at high school transcripts--they are just interested in the fact that you did graduate. An employer might ask your GPA or your class ranking, but even those are doubtful.
