I'm in the Yahoo league and I picked Harvick to win the cup two weeks ago. I think he will beat out Smoke for the cup. I'd like to see Jr. win it more than anyone but I don't think he will.

the whole "Chase" equipment grow to be geared up on an "something can take place" concept. Dominance or management interior the prevalent season in basic terms supplies a niche interior the chase. as quickly as the chase starts off, a clean season emerges, the whole historic previous of the chase format has desperate that. Jimmie Johnson has accompanied this to a tee. He is acquainted with he in basic terms needs to be very stable for the final public of the final 10 races. My concept is that no longer something is fairly going to grant the Chase from now on credibility than it has now. If Kevin Harvick wins the Championship this season after moving into as factor chief, any credibility given to the equipment would be desperate via how the final 10 races are run. the biggest difficulty is that Johnson has ruled the Chase for years and there relatively hasn't been a robust conflict for the identify through fact the format grow to be placed into place.

This was a good race, alot of crashes, and the unexpected happened and it was an amazing race, the people you thought were going to do good didnt and the people you would of never expected to do good did, just like Mike Skinner finished fourth and he isnt even a full time driver and barely made it into the race itself. I also didnt like the fact that my favorite driver crashed on the last lap, Jeff Gordon, but I loved the fact that Stewart and Kurt Busch crashed, Matt Kenseth, and Kyle Busch crashed as well. To bad Gordon had to get involved with that and yet he still finished 12th. I personally dont think that this is any indicator of how the season is going to be determined as things happen on race day. Always expect the unexpected.

No - I don't think this race is a good indicator of what's in store for the season. Too many unusual circumstances, starting with the cheating crackdown and ending with the demolition derby that was the Daytona 500 today.

Harvick is no where near consistent enough to win the championship.

I like the way Kurt Busch was running today, as well as Stewart. Too bad I don't like Stewart.

Dick Trickle will come back midseason and dominate, spending all his winnings on whiskey and cigarettes.
