well..here's a partial answer as to the American side of things:

The Martin B-26B Marauder "Flak Bait" flew more missions over Europe than any other American airplane of World War II. With 202 operational sorties to its credit, this medium bomber had the longest and most colorful combat history of any aircraft in the Museum.

the general rule of thumb was that in the early days of WWII combat crews flew 25 missions, then were rotated back to the US for rest / relaxation before being put back into combat. The first American crew to reach 25 combat Missions was the Crew of the Memphis Belle.

lets see what others may come up with.

The veritable "Flak Bait" was only the first bomber to complete 200 missions. There are rumors of B-26s exceeding 300 missions, and as yet, unconfirmed. Maybe someone would give some info on the 336 mission Marauder that is rumoured to be the most by any bomber.

Second best- The Eager Beaver B24 - During 1943, this B-24 flew 77 combat missions in New Guinea and claimed at least three enemy fighters and three ships.
