In all the movies I have watched, there is always some love situation, so is it like in a fairy tale or what is it like? I have been with this guy for about 4 years, and at times he seems kind of immature. I wish you would just answer me and do not judge me, telling me that I should get rid of him. We get along great, sometimes there is a burning feeling in my stomach or heart, I care about him greatly. I greatly appreciate your answers.

Love is based on friendship, deep respect and adoration. It makes you gorw and become the best person you can be. It's not a fairytale where there are doves and rainbows sometimes it's hard. Overall love is the reason we exist.

It is not like the fairy tales...To me love is hard at sometimes because when your in a relationship for that long you go through problems. Some might be minor and some others might not be but when your in love you feel like you can get through anything...Well, Good luck!

Well most people discribe love as something you feel. I do believe that is partly right, but in my opinion love is something you do or want to do. What I mean by that is when you love someone you want what is best for them and that may even meand them choosing something you disapprove of. Love is respect and being kind to the person you are with, which means you watch what you say and do because you don't want offend or hurt the other party by what you say and do. Lastly, I believe love is understanding meaning that you get the fact that people are not perfect and at times have to forgive them for their stupidity provided that they do not hurt you intentionally.
Of course my discription of love does not include to forgive or be understanding of someone that disrespects, abuse, lies and treats you in anyway that he or she would not want to be treated.
