My W2 got sent to my old address because thats what my employers still had on file eventhough I gave them my new address when I first started working there. It's been about 3 weeks since they sent it and I should have had it by now. I even called the Apartment complex and asked the management to call the residents of the apartment I use to live in and ask if they had gotten it. So what do I do?

Call the employer and have them send you a new one.

you can, at anytime now or in the future, request a w2 from an employer and they must provide it. you could request a copy of last years every week this year and they would have to provide it. so call up that employer and explain what has happened. it is important that if you change addresses in the future that you always let previous employers from that year know so that it doesn't happen again.

We send copies to our ex employees all the time, they never seem to remember to give us their new address. Ask your employer for a copy.

Call them and ask them to send a new copy because you didn't get it. Offer to come by and pick it up.
