A lot of people think its not hard to take care of a pet. So when they see a cute furry little creature they purchase it not knowing anything about it. And then when it gets sick they have no clue what to do. I would most definetly advise anyone who is getting a pet to read about it first pets are a serious responsibility and need vet care clean food water and sometimes special housing. pets can be very expensive and lead to heart ache as well.

Hello,
It is very unfortnate. Puppies are so cute & cuddly and people just can't comprehend that a dog needs to be cared for. They just think that the puppy is going to sleep all day while they are at work and not bother a thing. When they come home the entire house is in a mess. They talk to the dog as if it was a child. People also tend to forget that other people in the house might not care for the pet. Not every one is the same. Not to much common sense. More info available on samsdogtraining.com
Warm wishes,
Sam

I totally agree. I've come to believe that half the people out there have no business owning anything that lives and breathes and requires care from someone with a bit of common sense.
Having a dog is not a right, it's a privilege, but the people who cause the problems will never realize or accept that.

I agree, everyone loves a cute cuddly little puppy. So loveable and fun to play with. Then comes the work and commitment. Wait, work and commitment? Next thing you see is a pup chained to a dog house. They just don't think! The training and the time you give your new puppy in the first 6 months, and boy it can tire you out, will pay you back when that pup turns in to your best bud!! Yes, some people should not be pet owners!

The same goes for driving, raising children and so on. I'm sure I do loads of things wrong, but on occasion, I think and plan. I never had pets, but once I did, I read up on the subject and planned. It's just better for the pet and for me.
I do feel the same thing.

Yes I do. This as well as have kids, be married..... etc.... I'll stop while I'm ahead.
They think it is cute and the thing to do.
I really think people that get baby chickens, ducks, and/or rabbits for Easter are the dumbest unless they have a farm.

It's a learning experience I had no idea what I was doing, but I learned pretty quick after the dog urinated on everything.
