This is a great question that I've pondered myself. I feel that the first step to utilizing India's huge population as an asset is to first make them feel empowered. This means first creating a meritocracy, free from the stereotypes attached to darker skin and lower castes. It's going to necessitate that the government start more public works projects, making India a better place to live and thus helping to retain wealthy and intelligent Indians who might otherwise leave to western countries. The more homegrown talent that is kept in India, the more those people will do to help create jobs. And finally, microlending should be more widely spread among India's poor. I am convinced that the poor can do great things if only given the opportunity. It's about time India makes use of one of their greatest underutilized assets.

The best part of the Indian population today is that the same is mostly in the age group of 18 to 30 years. This population is dynamic, unbiased and open minded. The education / awareness level is increasing day by day throughout the country. This generation is non dependant on government or any other outside help for their own livelihood and personal development. They have got the physical and mental abilities to liberate not only themselves but the society as a whole from the traditional concepts. With the inborn innovativeness nourished by the modern education facilities they are here to create history and write their own success saga. This is evident from the recent progress of the Indians all over the world in all the fields. Takeovers of big industrial and commercial concerns all over the world by the Indians, success stories of IT companies headed by Indians are the concrete examples. I feel that population can be a burden if the members are uneducated, dependant on somebody else (old age ). The population is an asset if most of the members are educated, confident and self reliant.

It will be interesting to see what happens if the CIA startes a war between India and China. Odds are a group of White elitist power mongers will eventually get around to Asia and cause WWIII. It will most certainly envolve a conflict between the two big fellas, India will supass China soon in population and both have plenty of bodies to spare.
They can politely kill each other into the millions, and Europe and the West will pick up the pieces and get rich selling to both sides.
