then it still wont work after install. Ive tried taking it right off then reinstalling from scratch but it still wont work - any ideas ?

Flash has been zapped more than once by a Microsoft update, but Microsoft never fixes it. You need to run an uninstaller from Adobe, and then reinstall.

Reboot your system, and install the new Flash Player.

Note the uninstaller will take the player out of both Opera and Internet Explorer at the same time, just in case you have both browsers.
