What makes you think someone did it on purpose? Isn't it more likely that someone left it outside of their house with the cap not on correctly and maybe the dog knocked it over and drank it on it's own? Or maybe someone had water and antifreeze in similar bottles and they gave the dog the wrong one? Accidents happen and it sounds like you have experienced a tragic one. I am sorry for your loss and the terrible experience you have been through.
Peace!

Oh what a shame. You have my sympathy. My two beautiful White German Shepherd dogs were only 14 months old when my neighbor shot and killed both of them. It's a long story, but suffice it to say it was tragically unnecessary. He is an A$s, as I've since learned from the rest of the neighborhood. He is mean and he is a product of a very mean father. Yet they both walk around like they are good christian men and regularly go to church and act as if they are honorable men. Animal abuse happens for the same reason humans are abused...... cowardly people with little self respect and much disregard for other people's feelings get away with it. I look forward to the day I can pi$s on his grave.
On another note: here's an aritcle about a movement toward getting laws to force additives be put in antifreeze. The additive would make the antifreeze taste bad and would save children as well as pets. I am for it, and have written to my representatives. Maybe you should, too. Tell them your story. Maybe your sweet little puppy won't have died in vain.

Again, my sympathy for your loss.

I know someone who poisoned a dog on purpose. He'd asked his neighbors to keep the dog in their own yard, on a leash as were the district dog laws. He almost hit the dog twice pulling up his long driveway on his motorcycle. He'd called the police once and the people got a warning. But the dog continued to run free, digging up his garden, pooping on his lawn. One day this person left anti-freeze out in his car port. While he doesn't know if it killed the dog, he hasn't seen it since that day.
Was he wrong to do that? Of course! It wasn't the dog's fault that his owners were irresponsible.
Hopefully your dog's death was just a terrible accident, and not the act of someone who was frustrated with your dog.

Neighbor war?? if not then just a MEAN HORRIBLE PERSON--I have worked in veterinary hospitals for 17 years and I have seen what happens--it horrible for the animal and the owner that loved the animal so much. There are products such as SAFER brand anitfreeze that don't have the sweet ingredient in them that attracts cats and dogs. My heart goes out to you.

Peta and other violent Animal Rights activists have been known for doing things like that. The reason is that because they are Vegan they do not believe companion animals should exist, especially ones that eat meat.
There was an interesting article on why but it is also real obvious in their quotes. I'll put in some links to them.

Could it have been she was outside barking constantly? Not saying that is an excuse, but some people will kill a dog for that reason.
Also, you shouldn't have waited so long to go to the vet....as soon as you noticed her acting odd, she should have been at the vet. They could have saved her.

regrettably, that is highly undemanding...both unintended, and intentional. that is plausible that whoever left that stuff obtainable did not do it to kill your canines on purpose...besides the undeniable fact that it continues to be no longer the right aspect to do to easily unload out antifreeze. that is fairly troublesome to educate that it grow to be done on purpose for legal purposes, as in sueing them. Had they used some thing quite a lot less regularly poured out for disposal, like say rat poison in a meat ball...then you quite will be in a position to educate it, yet i am going to furnish you with a caution it is troublesome to educate with this stuff! that is totally poisonous to both canines and cats and very confusing to "deliver them again" from it...almost no longer plausible to deliver them again without lengthy time period harm. i'm sorry on your loss. in case you imagine it grow to be a one-time unintended, disposal orientated pool of antifreeze, then i'd attempt watering down the area around the pool and prepared till the floor dries out after ("the answer to pollution is dilution!") in case you imagine it grow to be done on purpose, then all i can propose is that you in trouble-free terms enable your IG out on a strictly referred to foundation, basically in case!

some people are just mean that way. or else you have really p i s s e d someone off really bad and they did it to get even. you need to look at yourself first and and ask, " am i really such an a s s h o l e that someone would do this to me?" if you are that kind of a s s h o l e, then there is your answer. otherwise, some folks are just mean like that.
