Last night my dog didn't seem to be feeling well and went off to sleep without us. This morning I noticed she will not wag her tail and has trouble sitting. Any ideas? She doesn't seem to be in pain otherwise. Since it is Sunday, I wanted to check around before calling emergency vet services unnecessarily.

Well try touching her tail like near the bottom and see what happens. Other then that she may just of hurt it somehow and it may be bruised, but if it makes you feel better just call the vet tomorrow or Tuesday(they may not be open tomorrow considering its Presidents Day) and ask them about it and see what they say! God Bless =)

Have you ever taken him outside for any endeavor in these days? Dogs can get enormously wound up and excited if they're kept cooped up for too long which would result in immoderate durations of tail wagging :) it is now not particularly whatever you should worry about unless your canine appears to be in suffering. Perhaps a just right run would aid him chill out...

she could have injured her tail or back or it could be something as simple have having impacted anal glands. It doesn't sound like an emergency but I would get her into your vet soon . If it is an anal gland impaction it needs to be tended to before it actually ruptures

It sounds like her anal glands could be full. Yeah, it's pretty gross but it happens to my dog about once every other month. Just take her to the vet and have them drain them.

She may have broken her tailbone. That or her anal glands are full. If you love your dog, go to the vet.
