Change the radiator cap with a new one. If it still continues to blow anti-freeze out of the reservoir, have it checked for a blown head gasket. Pressure from the cylinder maybe leaking past the head gasket and into the water jacket. If the car always runs hot it would be a sign of gasket trouble. Verify that the water pump is moving water. Make sure you mix water with the antifreeze in a 50/50 mix or whatever is recommended for your area/time of year.

To me it sound like a head gasket problem. If you are loosing antifreeze and you don't see a drop on the ground chances are the fluid is going inside the engine block. Check the oil level. If it is above the max limit and it looks like a milkshake, it's definitely head gasket. For a Honda civic (4cyl) you're looking at around $500. I'm an auto mechanic, that's how I know.
Good luck.

check the anti-freeze hose for any leaks. or check you temp. gauge for an increase in temp. after you get through driving. it then also could be a head gasket problem so also then check for cracks in it and try to see if you need a replacement or not.

First, try to replace the radiator cap with a dealer one.
Replace your water thermostat that has a relief valve on it.
If all these initiatives steps don,t help.
Then try to pressurize the system and see if you have an external leak
If this also don,t help; try to run a exhaust gas leak test.( you have to buy the kit)

,if it's not in the oil pan, not going out the tail pipe, then check the water pump seal ,the liquid will be flying off of the belt.you may also hear the belt squeal from liquid slip age on the pulley.

when cold my reservoir is ~ 1/3 full.. when hot ~2/3 full...
