My most favorite tattoo is very sentimental to me. My father passed away when I was 17, Oct 14th 2004. So a year after he passed away I got a tattoo on my lower back of a tribal band with a rose and around it, it says "Forever Loved" and inside it has his initials and the day he passed away. I have one more that's my favorite and that's the one I'm getting after I have my baby. I made a design of a skeleton holding a heart crossed legged. I'm getting that cause my husband likes skeletons, and instead of getting his name, cause you never know what will happen, I'm getting his favorite design. He's getting a dragon, and they're both on our left chest side.

Hrmm...I have 5 so far and I love them all, so hard to say one is a fave! But, I s'pose I'd have to say my backpiece even though it's not quite finished yet (3rd and hopefully final sitting is in 3 days!). It's a bit hard to explain but here goes: It's a daisy (my favorite flower) and the stem turns into a snake (I love snakes!) which wraps around itself & the flower and the head of the snake rests above the daisy.
The daisy represents me, the snake represents my husband, 2 become one, the snake protects the daisy. Also, the snake forms an "S" shape which is the first letter of my husband's name. It's on my back because after almost 20 years together, he's always 'got my back'.
Here's a link to the pic of it thus far...keep in mind, it's not finished yet...this is after 4 hours of work http://new.photos.yahoo.com/trinity_essence_of_femininity/photo/294928804203672949/0

I currently have 3 tattoos and am going to get one covered up and get an additional one shortly. My favorite is the first one I ever got when I was 18. It a peace sign on my left shoulder blade made up with green vines and little yellow flowers. My 2nd favorite is 8 fish around my ankle with japanese symbols underneath them. 8 is my favorite number and it says "one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish." My other tattoo I'm getting covered up is a heart with my ex-husband's initials in it near my hip. I'm getting it changed to my daughter's footprint with her name underneath it. The other tattoo I'm getting shortly is going to be a half-sleeve of a willow tree. I haven't decided on the exact final design, but I'm really looking forward to it! It has a lot of significance from my childhood/teenage years and is also my favorite tree.

I have seven tattoo's my favorite one is a hibiscus flower that I got done while I was on my dream vacation in Hawaii and that's pretty much the story behind it, it actually says Maui underneath the flower and is dated '05, the color hasn't faded at all.

I've got 2 and they're both equally special to me. One is on my wrist and it says "Never Regret" which I got after going through a lot of personal stuff. It reminds me that everything I've done/experienced has just made me into who I am today, so why sweat over it? The other is on my hip bone and it is a triabal sun with the kanji symbol for strength in the middle. =) I've become addicted and can't wait to get another!

I have five tattoos and I don't think I could say that any of them was MORE special that the others. I've designed all of them myself, and all of them have come to represent something about me or a special time of my life. I think that all tattoos should be like this - they have to have meaning.

well i got my first tattoo for my sweet sixteen. i got a butter fly with a music staff coming out of one of the wings. The first note on the staff was a sixteenth note, and the butter fly was a beautiful blue one. This is the most special one to me because it was my first and it repesents a very important time in my life.

my pennsylvania tattoo. it's the letters PA designed in kind of a cool little way. it's my cheapest/quickest/most random tattoo. but i think that's why i love it. it's the state my significant other was from before we meant.

sometimes the smallest tattoos mean the most...!

I have one, so it is my favorite. It is my son's name is scrolly cursive, blue wings on the side, and a small blue heart underneath. I drew it myself, and my best friend got the same with her daughter's name and in pink, it is very special and personal to both of us.
