What color hair dye?

I want to dye my hair dark, temporarily. I don't know what color, though. My hair is currently dark blonde/light brown. My eyes are light blue, and my skin has warm/yellow undertones. I am very pale. What shades, and which brands are best?

If you want black, get a blue-toned one. Don't freak out- your hair won't actually look blue at all, it just goes with your light skin tone and your eye color. It'll warm your skin up a bit a bit. A jet black color will look way too dramatic against fair skin. If you want something very temporary, try Clairol Herbal Essences ColorLift Mousse (it's @ $6 and you can get it at Wal Mart) It fades gradually, so roots won't be noticeable and it lasts about a month.

Try a chestnut brown kind of color... maybe a few shades lighter than that. If you go too dark right away, you may end up looking stranger than you'd initially anticipated.

maybe dark red or dark black or brown
