I am a Christian because that is the way I am being raised. I want to convert to Islam, but I need to move somewhere near a Mosque first. And no that doesnt Make Jesus a zombie in Christian eyes since he is consisdered immortal. Muslims think that Jesus never died and is living up in heaven, that is he never dies on earth.

I am guessing you are a person that has had very limited contact with Christianity. Yes it is true that we believe in going to Heaven. No, he is not a "dead guy". He is and was God made into man. He came to earth to save us from our sins, and to give us the chance to, after our deaths, spend eternity with Him. He did die, but He was raised from the dead. 40 days later he ascended into heaven.....This all probably sounds crazy if you've never studied it before, but I promise you: God is Jesus, Jesus is God, and He wants you to become His friend. If I were you, I would pick up a copy of a Bible from somewhere. (May I recommend the NAB Youth Bible. It's the one that I have and it clears up lots if difficult and hard to understand things. Plus, you can get in your phonebook and just look up a Church, call the pastor, and ask if you and he can get together sometime and just talk. Whether you decide to become a Christian or not, you'll walk away a better and more understanding person. God bless you!!!!!

Because since I was introduced to Jesus, my whole life has changed and is more fulfilling than anything I had before.
I am very happy being a Christian, and have been called to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Your question reminds me of Al Gore looking at busts of the founding fathers and asking who are these dead guys?

Believers don't believe just to get to heaven - that is just a benefit.
Jesus isn't dead. He rose from the dead is and now sits at the right hand of God.
You may not believe that - but that alone is not enough to change the reality of the one that created all and is the source of eternal life with God at the center.

I guess if you wanted to, you could call Jesus and Lazarus a zombie, lol. However I don't believe this is entirely accurate. Jesus still lives. Only his human form died, and only temporarily.
I am a Christian because I believe that God not only exists, but provides the only way to eternal paradise in heaven.

Okay, Jesus is not a zombie, nor is he dead. I am a Christian because of the great sacrifice that God has made for me so that I wouldn't have to go to Hell. He made it so that I would not be found guilty on Judgment Day.

I am a Christian, which means I follow the example of Jesus' and keep his commandments. The reasons are many but the chief reasons are that if I keep his commandments my life will be worth living and there is a better chance I will not end up on a trash heap. Jesus told us not to hate anyone and you don't need to be a genius to know how hate corrodes your soul and makes you a bittter hateful being. Are these reasons ok with you?

It is because Jesus Christ has taken my punishment upon Himself, when it should of been me on that cross. We have all sinned and fallen short of God's glory ( Romans 3:23) and I acknowledge this and believe that Jesus did die and that He rose again on the 3rd day defeating death just as the scriptures say.
God has changed my heart- not me. Any good in me comes from Him alone. For no one is good and no one seeks after God ( Romans 3:10) Of course I want to spend eternity with my LORD and SAVIOR in His kingdom! And of course I would wish hell upon no one---but that is punishment for sin---the wages of sin is death ( Romans 6:23)
He is not dead, JESUS IS ALIVE! And I give Him all the glory~ We don't deserve His great love, yet He gives it freely....and our salvation in Him is what sets us free from sin and hell. Praise God! --To Believers:
Romans 6:11
In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
