Death is a word to describe the phenomenon of the soul leaving the physical body. The souls is immortal. It simply leaves the body to don another. Just as you take off your shirt when it is dirty and put on another, the soul leaves the physical body once the time comes and carries out any remaining responsibilities through another body.

You are a soul therefore you are immortal and yes you will be aware of your true nature after death but this knowledge is "hidden" once the soul is reborn.

You are going to know if you truly desire to know. It is possible for man to know his true nature and what happens to him after death. All that is required is true desire and dedication to finding out.

considering your brain will still be here on Earth after you die, it will be impossible for you to "know" anything after you die. Memories and thoughts are formed in the brain. So how on Earth someone thinks it is possible to remember your life after you die is beyond me. If our "soul" is all we need to remember our lives....then why do we even have brains?

Uh, your question begs another big question; How could any living person give you an accurate answer?? We are in the same boat you are. We can surmise, guess and contemplate...but ultimately, none of us know the answer.

I guess seeing as memories are stored in the physical brain, you probably won't remember anything.
So that's gonna suck.

You will, of course, recieve a lot of different answers since a lot of people believe different things. I believe that either heaven or hell awaits, depending on your religious orientation.
