you take your husbands and by this i mean if he is right you stay by him with your mouth shut only letting him know you support him and his stance on the topic but if hes wrong then you talk to him alone and share your thoughts but do not do it in front of his family and if its not even him in it then you share your thoughts about it and let him bring it to the table not you i have known my husbands family for 23 years and grew up with them so we know each other very well and i still do not get in the middle of their arguments because even though we have been friends for ever i am still a in-law so i tell my husband what i think and he may share them and only when i am asked directly do i answer and even then i choose my words sooooo carefully so it never seems like i am picking sides more like offering food for thought!

Because you are the "in-law" your husbands family might not be too excited for you to take sides...making you the "out-law." Stay away from that one! Let your husband know what you think, but don't share it with the entire family.

The only person in your husband's family that you take a side on is his. Everything else you stay so far out of, you could be in another hemisphere, maybe even another galaxy. You get in the middle of a family feud with your hubby's family, and EVERYONE will be angry with you. Good luck!

Tell your husband what you think - he should take it from there. You should probably stay out of it after that.

Just keep out of it. When it is all over and they are all friends again, you will still be considered one of them. But if you try and take sides regardless of who is right or wrong you will be an outcast.

It's probably best if you just stay out of it. They say blood is thicker than water, they would just turn on you.

It's hard to bite your tongue isn't it? But sometimes that's what's best. Hang in there.
