My kitten is 6months old. When we first got her we were told she had ear mites and to get rid of them asap. We had them under control until a week ago her ears are bright pink and warm. I have cleaned them with store bought ear mite ointment and hydrogen and peroxide. She has been whining a lot the last two days and rolling onto her back more then usual crying. We were told that it might be because she is starting to go into heat since she just tuned 6months old this month. She isn’t her normal playful self she keeps crying until she is next to me and lets me pet her(her lower stomach or ears). We have given her a bath today and cleaned her ears twice. They both seemed to help calm her down but she is still crying a lot. I don’t know if she is in heat or if it’s just her ears any suggestions on what I should do? I want to comfort her!

You really should get her checked out by a vet, but odds are that she's in heat. Getting her spayed would be the best thing to do, because cats are nearly always in heat until they are spayed, and a cat in heat doesn't make the best pet, as I'm sure you are finding out.

Sounds like she has a fever. If she has brown gunk in her ears, though, it's earmites. Either way she needs to go to the vet just to make sure.

Ummm well I'm not to sure she might be in heat or there is something that is hurting her badly. Maybe you should take her to the vet that’s your best bet on making her to fell better. Best of luck to you and your kitty!

Just take her to the vet. Have the vet check to see if she has earmites.
