I have this female friend that I hang out with sometimes. When we hang out she always talks about marriage and jokes about all these guys that like her but she rejects them. And she likes to ask me if I have a girlfriend and what I look for in a girlfriend and why I don't have a girlfriend and if I would date a girl I wasn't planning to marry.. etc. Why does she ask me this? Is she digging me or just curious?

Sounds to me like she is fishing for you to be more than just a friend to her. If you are good friends, then she should already know why you choose certain people to date or not choose any at all. She's only asking you hoping you will look at her in a different light. She wants to be your girlfriend.

As a female myself I must amit we ask so many question I ask question to find out how a person is and what they are about. that's how I meet my husband. I want to know why he did not talk about girls or even wanting to be marry. it's was because I like them. Now I am not saying in case that what she is doing. My husband ask me why I ask so many question I came right out and told him because I like him two years later we where marry.

Ask her that last question. She'll either answer or shut up.
If she's saying so much about guys who are interested in her, she's either got a low self esteem or is trying to talk herself up (make herself seem more desirable to you). I don't know which it is, but I'm not a nosy woman, or one that plays games.

I'm sure she only sees you as a friend, but she still knows you're a guy. So she wants to try and figure out what guys are thinking.

Why not ask her that? That way you'll have her answer and not our guess at why she asks you those things.
