--It is the same as the "Lake of Fire"--everlasting destruction!

--(Revelation 20:13-14) “. . .. 14 And death and Ha´des were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire.”

*** it-1 p. 598 Death ***

Second Death. “The lake of fire” into which death, Hades, the symbolic “wild beast” and “the false prophet,” Satan, his demons, and the persistent practicers of wickedness on earth are cast is shown to mean “the second death.” (Re 20:10, 14, 15; 21:8; Mt 25:41) Initially death resulted from and was passed on to mankind as a result of Adam’s transgression; hence “the second death” must be distinct from this inherited death. It is evident from the cited texts that there is no release possible from “the second death.” The situation of those in “the second death” corresponds to the outcome warned of in such texts as Hebrews 6:4-8; 10:26, 27; and Matthew 12:32. On the other hand, those represented as gaining “the crown of life” and having part in “the first resurrection” are free from any possibility of harm by the second death. (Re 2:10, 11) These, who are to reign with Christ, receive immortality (deathlessness) and incorruption and hence are beyond the “authority” of the second death.—1Co 15:50-54; Re 20:6; compare Joh 8:51.

Jesus constantly draws the comparison between physical things and spiritual things. The second death is one of the ultimate comparisons. Death as we know it is separation of the spirit from the body. The second death spoken of is when our spirit selves are separated from God's presence. When we were born into mortality, we were separated from God's presence and in essence had a first death. But it was not a complete death because we had the comforter, or the Holy Ghost, to inspires us and keep us spiritually in touch with God. Then we suffer the physical death which is usually considered to be the first death. We then await the resurrection and are brought again into the presence of God to be judged. Those that have followed Christ and the promptings of the Holy Ghost in their lives, will not be separated from God's presence or influence. Those that have rejected Christ will then be removed from God's presence and influence and are partakers of the second death.
I know this is a cursory summation of the topic. It will do for now unless you want to know more.

John 5:28 Do not marvel at this because the hour is coming when all those in the memorial tombs will come out. Those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who did vile things to a resurrection of judgement.
During judgement day soon to come on this earth.
If during judgement day they sin they die a second time, that time there is no resurrection from that. That is the second death.

you die in the physical form, this is death one. If you are bad and lead an evil, sinful life, then you go to Hades for torment and punishment till judgment day.

On judgment day if you still have not accepted Jesus, then you will burn in sulfur smoke and be cast into the lake of fire, to never exist again. This is the 2nd death.

It is being condemned to hell and eternal punishment.

Revelation 20:6 - Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

The first death is your very own physical death when you leave this world.
The second death is when you get sent to the Lake of Fire if you fail to believe that Jesus Christ paid the penalty for your sins.

The first death is when you give up your mind to become a theist. The second death is when your body gives out.
