Make sure you try it on yourself first. Then get back to us and tell us how that turned out. You won't be able to reproduce after, but I don't think that will be a big loss.

Call a vet or animal control and ask if there are low cost spay and neuter programs in your area. Ask also where the nearest veternary college is that may offer free or low cost spaying.
Spaying a cat is similar to a woman having a hysterectomy or a man having his prostate removed. It is major surgery. Just as you would not want me to come cut you open and take things out so you should not even consider doing that to your cat. This would be torturing her and would kill her if done by an amature. If you do not feel you can take care of the cat and do not want kittens then please put an ad in the paper and give her to a good home where they can takle care of her.

get a sharp non rusty blade and a whole lot of towels and be sure to have some earplugs inn.... ps dude im just kidding please do not attempt to spay your animal i dont think its humane to try unless performed by a vet cool question though made me laugh later..
