A wise person said long ago, "Being alone is better than wishing you were." The lonliness you feel when you 're with the wrong person is worse than the lonliness of being completely alone.
I've been with the right person, I've been with the wrong person and I've been alone. All involve compromise. I would much rather be alone than with the wrong person.

I'm not so sure I agree "The fear of dieing alone", more like the "fear of being alone". And, yes, I think many people marry because of that and that's why 55% of marriages end in divorce. However, when you find the "right person", there'll be no divorce.

you can never tell who is the right person. you can only follow your heart.and the fear of dieing you are never alone you have god.find yourself and the fear of dieing will go away and the right person may come alone.after you learn to open your eyes and feel with your heart

I am alone and now I am happy. My wife of 21 years died. I have figured out how to live alone. I miss her but my life has gone on.
