You might have dandruff.
Dandruff is itching and flaking of the scalp.
These dead cells fall off in small flakes which we don't even notice. Washing your hair or brushing it gets rid of these tiny flakes.
When you itch your head these flakes are falling off.
Using head and Sholders helps.

If it is not dandruff, you might not be washing all the shampoo or conditioner out. It stays there and makes your head itchy.

Hope i helped??!

Hope you solve your problem!

I use to have a itchy scalp a LOT...but then I started using Neutrogena Triple Moisture Active Soothing Shampoo. It is for itchy scalp. I've not had ANY problums since I've started using it. IThen use Neutrogena Triple Moisture Daily Deep Conditioner and Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask. I love anything Neutrogena and i've found that the shampoo really helped my itchy scalp. So plz try it. You can also get a Triple Moisture Active Soothing Conditioner to, I just like to use the deeo condition one. But its up to you.

*** Oh, and just so you know, I wash and condition and deep condition my hair EVERYDAY and its not falling out or braking or bad, so don't let people tell you not to wash your hair daily. ***

you probably have dandruff....which is just where your scalp is dry try switching to a different shampoo that doesn't dry out your scalp....also you might be over washing you hair...which really isn't a good thing...you wash out all the nuetrients you hair needs!! because your scalp produces a natural oil to keep your hair growing and moisturized but if you over wash it results in your scalp drying out..i recommend washing your hair every other day....if that doesn't work try changing your shampoo...good luck

Hi,
I would advise you to try Polytar shampoo, you can buy this at Boots the chemist, ask the sales person where to find it because its not where you would normaly find shampoo's etc. It really does work on dandruff and itchy scalps.

My dermatologist told me to use shampoo with zinc or tar as active ingredients. I use Neutrogena T-Gel shampoo w/conditioner. Works great for me.
