Describe a case in which religion influenced a decision you made? Now that you think back, would it have mattered if you believed in a god. Would you still have made the same decision?

Scientists do know why the sun burns, Its fusing hydrogen atoms to make helium atoms. It doesn't reach us because the fusion of atoms conflicts with gravity, they call this hydrostatic equilibrium.

Like I said before; God let me down. I was in a very depressive state, so I decided to slit my wrist. I thought if there was a God, then he would be able to stop me from doing that...right? If I believed that God existed, then I still would've made the same choice, as he is NOT graceful to me, let alone the rest of the world. Watch CNN to see all of his "grace"...

All I can say is look around. When you look at the sun, there's a reason why it burns from the time we are born until the time we die. And Science cannot really understand why it has burned for so long. How is it that this central source that has kept us alive through centuries of history? (All we get are "Educated Guesses") You cannot land on it to do soil research. You cannot even come close to landing on it. All you can do is LOOK at it and make a conclusion of how it works. I think that God is just like that. We strive to be like God, yet we do not understand him. (And nature influenced me to believe there is a God. Not some "Mind Institution.") So yeah I still would have made the same decision.

1. I was against capitol punishment and was unhappy with my state because it was allowed, then I read "if a man sheds blood, then by man will his blood be shed."

2. A plastic bottle of Sprite was dropped on the floor by my grandson and my daughter told Wal-Mart that it was leaking. There was nothing wrong except my grandson dropped it and the bottle was bent. She told me Wal-Mart would just send it back to the manufacturer and it wouldn't bother them. I told her no, that the manufacturer would lose and it was our fault and we'd pay for the Sprite.

3. A young grocery clerk gave me $20.00 too much in change from a $100.00. I got all the way to the car before counting my change and took it back inside. This has happened more than once. Got outside without paying for dog treats on the bottom of the cart.

I fear God and God only. I don't fear the police, but God I fear. I don't want to disappoint God. I love Him too much.

4. I loved cigarette smoking. It was an enjoyment like Blue Bell ice cream, but God convicted me for smoking and He delivered me from the habit. If you go just a little way, God will carry you the rest. His yoke is easy. His burden is light.

5. My mother suffered thirty years with anxiety disorder and phobias and the last ten years of her life blind with Altzheimers. I gave up a good portion of my life to take care of my mother, but God said to honor your parents and I've never regretted it for one moment. I can do all things through God who strengthens me.

Yes it made a difference. There are many cases that I could bore you with but a simple one involved the purchase of my house. I would have settled for a house that did not have everything on my lists of "needs", "wants" and "dreams". By waiting, as He asked, I got the house (in the same price range) with a jacuzzi, dishwasher, central air, fireplace, greenhouse window, big back yard, great neighborhood, etc.

Asking a Christian to think like an unbeliever is just like asking a bird not to fly. It feels like a restraining order. Faith is freedom. Jesus said that we would know the truth and that the truth would make us free. To be bound again is unthinkable.

Going to college and becoming an Ordained Preacher is not something I would have done without Faith in GOD.
